Kalundborg Symbiosis welcomes APM Terminals as its newest associated member

APM Terminals is a part of A. P. Moller-Maersk, an integrated container logistics company working to connect and simplify its customers’ supply chains. As the global leader in shipping services, the company operates in 130 countries and employs over 100,000 people.
The Kalundborg terminal has been in Kalundborg since 2021. It is the newest and smallest APM Terminal and was put into operation in March 2021. The terminal has a depth of 15 meters and a deep-water basin that extends along the entire 500-meter quay. The terminal has 12 permanent employees and 18 temps. There are big ambitions for growth and green transformation at APMT Kalundborg.
APM Terminals has been lifting standards for developing and operating advanced ports and container terminals for over half a century (since 2001 under the APM Terminals brand). Now, with facilities in 64 key locations around the globe and several more in development we are liftings standards of connectivity, efficiency, reliability, and proactivity for both shipping line and landside customers.
